These terms govern your use of the Bullpen iOS app and this website ("Bullpen", "we", "us"). By using Bullpen, you agree to them. If you're under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using Bullpen and has read these terms too.

1. What Bullpen is, and isn't

Bullpen is an educational app. Everything you trade in Bullpen is simulated: the coins, the portfolio, the gains, and the losses are virtual and have no monetary value. Bullpen is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or financial institution, and nothing in Bullpen or on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Simulated results do not predict real-world investment performance. Any real-world financial decisions you make are your own responsibility; talk to a qualified professional and/or your parents first.

2. Eligibility

Bullpen is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under the age required to consent to these terms in your region, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

3. Virtual items

XP, coins, badges, streaks, and simulated portfolio holdings are virtual items with no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for real money or anything of value, and we may adjust, reset, or discontinue them (for example, to fix bugs or rebalance the game).

4. Your account and data

Bullpen uses Sign in with Apple to keep your progress on your device and in sync. You're responsible for activity under your profile. Our privacy policy explains what data we handle.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse Bullpen: no attempting to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the app or its services; no submitting unlawful, harassing, or harmful content through free-text features (like written answers, reports, or support messages); no impersonating others; no using Bullpen to violate any law.

6. Content and intellectual property

The Bullpen app, curriculum, design, and branding are ours (or our licensors') and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Market data shown in Bullpen comes from third-party providers and may be delayed, simulated, or approximate; it is provided for education only and should not be relied on for real trading.

7. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or question reports, you give us the right to use them to improve Bullpen without obligation or compensation. (Thank you: reports genuinely make the curriculum better.)

8. Disclaimers

Bullpen is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. We work hard on the curriculum, but we don't guarantee it is error-free or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial decisions you make outside the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free app, may be zero).

10. Changes and termination

We may update Bullpen, these terms, or discontinue features over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. We may suspend access that violates these terms. You can stop using Bullpen at any time by deleting the app.
